We are a Pakistan Registered Travel Trekking Company based in Hunza Valley, Northern Pakistan since 2002.
Shams Alpine Mountaineering and Trekking (Pvt) Ltd operates adventure trips mainly in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Northern Pakistan where you will see the junction point of the three mighty mountain ranges – the Hindukush, the Himalayas and the Karakoram.
Northern Pakistan is home to the world’s major 8,000m peaks and is also blessed with picturesque wild flower covered valleys, the sweetest summer fruits, friendly welcoming local people, and hundreds of glaciers including the world’s longest glaciers.
Our trips take you along the Karakoram Highway (KKH). We will drive you parallel to and beside the ancient Silk Route, to valleys culturally rich and famous for their hospitality. We will take you to Hunza famed for its healthy mountain air and sweet apricots and/or along the banks of the mighty Indus River to Skardu and beyond to the beautiful Deosai Plateau. With our guides you will experience breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat (8,125m) Rakaposhi (7,788m) Haramosh (7,400m) Diran (7,257m), Golden Peak (7,027m) Lupgar Sar (7,200m), Dastaghir Sar (7,785m), Korun (6,877m), (Masherbrum (7,821m) and dozens more from our ‘Vehicle Tours’ or you can ‘Trek’ into Base Camps.
